Geek: KVM'sSince last looking there are many interesting KVM's out. Some support dual monitors, some support DVI, many support independent switching of audio, video, and keyboard, so you can listen to music on one pc while typing on another. Most all new ones support multimedia keyboards.
It'd be a fun project to try hooking up an eye toy with a simple image recognition program to determine whether or not I'm looking in a particular direction (like at my tablet) and fire the appropriate KVM hotkey.

( Read more... )Geek: Flash FunFor a project I recreated the basic for the OS Aqua Dock, it's actually only about a paragraph of code even with different layout options (left, center, right) justified. Somehow I thought something so fun would be more complex than that. The alex uhlmann animation library is kick ass and a huge time saver for the standard stuff we do in Flash.
